August Update

The board last met Wednesday, August 14th. Approved minutes from our July meeting will be posted ASAP to the website.

Lake Cleanup Update

Starting next week, a commercial clean-up crew will begin work in the tornado-impacted coves. Divers will sweep the coves 15 feet out from seawalls, collecting and removing submerged debris. Items found will be temporarily placed onshore for later pickup, with no heavy machinery used on homeowner lots.

Larger items that can't be removed by hand will be flagged and marked for future removal. The coves and lake will also receive a 4th and final sonar scan to identify any remaining large debris. This cleanup marks the final phase of the HOA's lake restoration efforts.

Seawall Survey

TD2 engineers are currently conducting a seawall survey on the lake. This survey will provide crucial insights into the condition of the seawalls, ensuring their integrity and safety. Individual reports detailing the findings will be mailed directly to each homeowner upon completion.

These reports will offer personalized information regarding the state of each homeowner’s seawall, allowing for any necessary repairs or maintenance to be addressed promptly. Stay tuned for your report, which will arrive at the end of the survey process.
